WHO'S SIKKA

• vishal sikka was born in a punjabi family in Gujarat-his mother was a teacher in Rajkot,while the father was an engineer in the Indian Railways.
• He was graduated in computer engineering from MS University,vadodara.
• He finished his bachelor of science in compter science from syracuse university and his doctorate in artificial intelligence from stanford University.
• He worked at Xerox's research lab at Palo Alto and later started his first company,which was acquired by PatternRX,Inc. 
• His second startup,Bodha.com was bought by peregrine systems.
• He joined SAP in 2002 to head the advanced technology group,where he was responsible for strategic innovative projects.
• Five years later,he was named the first CTO of the company and was responsible for all products and innovation.

Dr Sikka__ the first CEO of a top indian outsourcing company to have a PhD in computer science,and from stanford university,at that - is credited with the "intellectual turn around" of of the worlds biggest enterprise software maker SAP and was the man behind its game-changing HANA in memory database technology.
Dr Sikka is not seen as Indian executives.Like Vikram Pandit,Indira nooyi,satya nadella,etcHe is a global leader.he can open doors to CEOs and boardrooms for Infosys",said Zinnov consulting's sundararaman viswanthan.
